Speed Brake Lever
Lever provides the following speed brake and ground spoiler functions:
- Manually pushing lever down and aft inflight, selects surface position of Speed Brakes. A "hard point: is provided at the 1/2 position.
- Speed Brake deflection is limited to approximately 1/2 with an autopilot engaged, regardless of lever position.
- Pulling the lever up to the RET position arms the ground spoilers to automatically extend for landing or when executing a rejected takeoff.
Flap Lever
Commands flaps and slats for simultaneous operation to selected position. Lever must be pulled out of detent prior to positioning.
Detents are provided at positions 1 and 3 to avoid excessive flap/slat travel by a single action.
When the flap lever is in any position other then "0" in flight, idle RPM is increased (approach idle) and continuous ignition is activated.
RUD Trim Position Indicator
Displays Rudder Trim direction (L or R) and value (0° to 20°).
RUD Trim RESET Switch
When pushed, the FAC commands the Rudder Trim actuator to the zero trim position.
RUD Trim Selector
Controls the Rudder Trim actuator which moves the neutral point of the articial feel at a rate of 1 degree per second of rudder travel.
Selector is deactivated with A/P engaged.
