Headset & Boomset Jacks
When a Headset or Boomset is plugged into the Jack:
- Cockpit sounds picked up by the microphone are audible
- Test tone is audible when TEST pb is pressed
- The erase tone is audible when ERASE pb is pressed
Test Result Indicator
Indicator composed of GREEN and RED leds. Illumination of one GREEN led indicates that the Test Result is good.
Erase Button
Push ( 2 seconds ): Activates complete Erasure of the tape provided the aircraft is on ground and the parking brake is ON.
Test Button
Push: Test circuit is activated provided CVR is energized. The result of the Test is visible on the indicator.
If an acoustic equipment is plugged into the jack, the Test will be head as low frequency signal.
