Area Microphone for the Voice Recorder.
Headset Jack
Accepts a Headset to monitor audio or test tone. Audio playback may or may not be delayed.
Erase Switch
If pushed and held for more than 2 seconds, Erases the Voice Recorder when:

Test Switch
When pushed and held momentarily, the indicator pointer should deflect once or twice and either 1 or 4 test tones is heard.
