Flap Handle and Quadrant
Controls the trailing edge Flaps by the Hydraulic drive units and the leading edge flaps by the pneumatic drive units.

Controls the trailing and leading edge Flaps electrically when the Flaps fail to extend by pneumatic or Hydraulic drives.

Gates at positions 1 and 20 prevent inadvertent Flap handle movement past gate positions. Position 1 prevents inadvertent retraction of the leading edge Flaps. Position 20 prevents inadvertent retraction of trailing edge Flaps during a go-around.
