TCAS Traffic Display ON
Indicates
TFC button is selected ON.
VORTAC
When
NAVAID switch is ON, all appropriate navaids in range appear in addition to those navaids which are
standard or active.
Airport
When the
ARPT switch is ON, displays Airports with the map area.
Expanded Compass Rose
Indicates approximately 70° of available 360° scale.
Waypoint
Represents the Waypoint airplane is currently navigating to. Active ( MAGENTA ) and
Inactive ( White ).
Weather Radar Returns
Multcolored Returns are presented when either
WXR ON switch is pushed. Most intense areas are displayed in
RED, lesser intensity in
AMBER and least intense in
GREEN. Turbulence is displayed in
MEGENTA.
Curved Trend Vector
Indicates predicted airplane track in 30, 60 and 90 second intervals when turning.
Airplane Symbol
Indicates Airplane position relative to display by the apex of the triangle.
Wind Display
Indicates Wind direction and speed ( in knots ) relative to map display orientation.
Altitude Arc
Intersects track at the point where Altitude set in MCP Altitude indicator will be reached.
Range
Indicates 1/2 the Range selected on associated
HSI Range selector.
Route Line
Indicators active flight plan Route as solid MAGENTA line between waypoints.
Vertical Deviation Indicator
Indicates altitude Deviation from the selected Vertical profile.
Heading Pointer
Indicates airplane Heading in MAP or PLAN modes.
ETA Display
Indicates ETA to next Waypoint.
Magnetic Track/Heading Display
Indicates Magnetic Track (TRK, M) in MAP or PLAN modes.
Distance Display
Indicates Distance to next waypoint in MAP or PLAN modes.
Track Line
Indicates predicted Track based on present Heading and wind.
Selected Heading Marker
Indicates the Heading set in the MCP.
