Tail Skid
Indicates Tail Skid position disagrees with landing gear lever position.
Wheel Well Fire
Indicates a Fire in the main Wheel areas.
Brake Temperature
Indicates a Brake Temperature value of 5 or greater in one or more wheel Brakes.
Landing Gear Lever
- UP - Retracts Landing Gear
- OFF - Shuts off hydraulic pressure to Landing Gear
- DN - Extends Landing Gear
Lock Override Switch
Releases Landing Gear Lever Lock if solenoid fails to release Lock after liftoff.
Alternate Gear Extension Switch
- OFF - Resets Alternate Gear extension system.
- DN - Activates Alternate Gear electric hydraulic pump which hydraulically releases the Gear doors and Gear uplocks allowing the
Gear to free fail.
Door Light
Indicates one or more Landing Gear Doors are not locked closed.
Gear Light
Indicates Landing Gear position disagrees with position called for by Landing Gear Lever.
Nose, Left/Right Wheel Lights
Indicate associated Gear is down and locked.
Flaps Position Indicator
Indicates position left and right Flaps and Slats with L and R pointers.
- UP - Indicates that all Flaps and Slats are retracted.
- Between UP and 1 - Indicates Flaps and Slats are between the retracted and Flaps 1 position..
- 1 - Indicates Flaps are at position 1 and Slats are in the takeoff position.
- 5, 15, 20, 25, 30 - Indicates Flaps are in the indicated position. Slat extension to the landing position or retraction to
takeoff position occurs between Flaps 20 and 25 but is not indicated.
ALTN Flaps Selector
- NORM - Selector position during Normal operation.
- Up through 30 - Extends or retracts Flaps and/or Slats to the selected position using the alternate electric drive system
when the associated LE or TE arming switches are in ALTN.
LE and TE Switches
Arm associated Flap (TE) or Slat (LE) electric drive system to extend or retract Flaps or
Slats to position selected on ALTN FLAPS selector.
Leading Edge Light
Indicates one or more Leading Edge Flaps failed to reach position called for by the Flap handle.
Trailing Edge Light
Indicates one or more Trailing Edge Flaps failed to reach position called for by the Flap handle.
GND PROX Flap Override
Inhibits GPWS cautions related to Flap position.
GND PROX/CONFIG Gear Override
Inhibits GPWS cautions related to Gear position.
Inhibits Landing Gear Configuration warning siren.
