L / R ENG OVHT Lights
Indicate an Overheat in the associated upper Engine / pylon area.
L / R Engine Fire Handles
Illuminate to indicate a fire in the associated Engine. When pulled the handle:
- Closes the Engine fuel and spar valves
- Closes the Engine bleed valve
- Closes the Engine driven Hydraulic pump supply valve
- Trips the generator field and breaker
- Deactivates thrust reverser
- Arms both fire extinguisher bottles
- Silences the fire bell
ENG BTL DISCH Lights
Indicate low pressure in the associated Engine Fire extinguisher bottle.
Cargo Extinguisher ARM Switches & Warning Lights
Cargo fire warning lights within the switches come on when fire ( or smoke ) is detected in
the FWD or AFT Cargo compartments. When pushed, switch silences the fire bell, arms the fire extinguisher system to the associated compartment.
BTL DISCH Switch & Light
Discharge the associated fire extinguisher bottle to the compartment selected with the
ARMED switches. DISCH lights indicate low pressure in the associated fire extinguisher bottle.
APU BTL DISCH Light
Indicates low pressure in the APU fire extinguisher bottle.
APU Fire Handle
Illuminates to indicate a fire in the APU or APU compartment. When rotated after pulling, discharges the single extinguisher bottle.
