MAP Display Switches

• INOP - No assigned function.
• NAV AID - Displays symbols for additional high altitude navigation aids when range selector is in 80, 160, or 320.
• ARPT - Displays symbols for all adequate Airports within the display area.
• RTE DATA - Displays altitude and estimated time of arrival at each Waypoint on the displayed route of flight with HSI mode selector in MAP or PLAN.
• WPT - Displays Waypoints in the data base which are not on the selected flight plan route when range selector is in 40, 20, or 10.

WXR Switch

• ON - Activates radar and displays radar returns on associated HSI VOR, ILS or MAP displays.
• OFF - Removes radar returns from associated HSI, and deactivates radar if other pilot's switch is also OFF.

HSI Mode Selector
Allows selection of HSI display mode.

• VOR - Selects heading up display oriented to a manually-tuned VOR/DME.
• ILS - Selects heading up display oriented to a manually-tuned ILS/DME.
• MAP - Selects track up display oriented to active flight plan route.
• PLAN - TCAS traffic not displayed.

Range Selector
Selects the desired range covered by the associated HSI display in nautical miles.

Decision Height Knob
Sets Decision Height on the associated ADI.

RST Switch
Resets Decision Height on the associated ADI.

DH REF Indicator
Indicates the DH alert display on the associated ADI.

Brightness Knob
Sets the brightness of the associated ADI CRT display to be maintained by the automatic brightness control system.

Brightness Knob

• Outer Knob - Sets the brightness of the associated HSI CRT display.
• Inner Knob - Controls brightness of radar display on associated HSI.
