System Fail Switch and Light

• Switch - Resets the fault monitoring System and turns off the FAIL light.
• Light - Indicates a Failure or Fault in both loops of the Engine Fire, Engine Overheat, APU Fire or Cargo Fire detection System.

Wheel Well Test Switch
Test the Wheel Well Fire detector circuits and associated warnings.

• The fire bell sounds
• Both Master WARNING lights come on
• The Fire light comes on
• The Wheel Well Fire light comes on
• The Wheel Well Fire message appears on EICAS

Engine / APU / Cargo Test Switch
Tests the Engine Fire, Engine Overheat, APU Fire, and Cargo Fire/Smoke detector circuits and associated warnings.

• The fire bell sounds in the cockpit and on the external APU Fire Protection panel
• The caution aural sounds
• Both Master WARNING lights come on
• Both Master CAUTION lights come on
• The fire light comes on in the cockpit and on the external APU fire protection panel
• Both ENG OVTH lights comes on
• The Engine and APU Fire Shutoff Handles illuminate
• Both Fuel Control switches illuminate
• The FWD and AFT CARGO FIRE lights come on
