777 Photo and/or Graphic Element
There are two EFIS Control Panels located on each end of the Glareshield and is used to control the respective Primary Flight Display (PFD) and Navigation Display (ND). The panel includes controls for selecting various modes and ranges on the ND as well as switches to display navaids, waypoints, airports, etc. Two toggle switches allow display of the left and right VOR and ADF bearing pointers on the ND. Controls are available to set barometric altimeter settings for display on the PFD.

Minimum Knob

RST Switch (Inner) - Resets or blanks PFD display.
Minimums Selector (Middle Knob) - Adjusts PFD radio or baro minimums altitude.
Minimums Reference Selector (Outer Knob) - If PACK OFF light alone comes on, indicates associated pack valve is closed.
- Radio - Selects radio altitude as the PFD minimums reference.
- BARO - Selects barometric altitude as the PFD minimums reference.

FPV Switch
Pushing switch displays flight path vectors on PFD.

MTRS Switch
Pushing switch displays PFD altitude meters indications.

BARO STD Switch & Barometric Reference Selector

Barometric Reference (Outer Knob)
- IN - Selects inches of mercury as PFD barometric reference.
- HPA - Selects hectopascals as PFD barometric reference.
BARO STD Switch (Inner)
- Selects 29.92 inches Hg or 1013 hPa for the PFD barometric ref.
- With STD displayed, selects the preselected barometric setting.
- With no preselected barometric setting displayed, displays the last value before STD was selected.

L or R VOR/ADF Switch

L or R VOR - Displays the VOR pointer, VOR frequency or identification and associated DME information.
OFF - Removes VOR and ADF displays.
L or R ADF - Displays the ADF pointer, VOR frequency or identification and associated DME information.

ND Mode Selector & CTR Switch

CTR Switch (Inner) - When pushed, displays full compass rose for APP, VOR and MAP modes. Subsequent pushes alternate between expanded and centered displays.
ND Mode Selector (Outer)
- APP
  - ILS or MLS localizer and glideslop information is displayed in heading up format.
  - Reference ILS receiver, ILS frequency or identification, course and DME are displayed.
  - Weather radar and TCAS are not shown when display is centered.
- VOR
  - VOR navigation information is displayed in heading up format.
  - Reference VOR receiver, VOR frequency or identification, course and DME and TO/FROM information are displayed.
  - Weather radar and TCAS are not shown when display is centered.
- MAP
  - FMC-generated route and map information, airplane position, heading and track are displayed in track-up format.
  - Waypoints, including the active waypoint are displayed within the selected range.
  - VNAV path deviations are displayed.
- PLN
  - A stationary true north-up route depiction is displayed.
  - The airplane symbol represents actual airplane position.
  - Route may be reviewed using the CDU legs page.
  - Weather radar and TCAS are not shown when display is centered.

ND Range Selector & TFC Switch

TFC Switch (Inner) - When pushed, TCAS information is displayed on the ND.
ND Range Selector (Outer) - Selects the desired ND nautical mile range scale.

Map Switches
Pushing switches selects or removes detailed ND information. More then one display may be selected at a time.

WXR - Displays weather radar information.
STA - Displays high and low altitude navigation aids in the 10, 20 or 40 NM range and high altitude navigation aids only if range is selected above 40 NM.
WPT - Displays waypoints if range selector is set to 10, 20 or 40 NM.
ARPT - Displays airports.
DATA - Displays the FMC estimated time of arrival and altitude at each waypoint.
POS - Displays ADIRU and both GPS positions and VOR raw data radials extended from the nose of the airplane to the stations.
TERR - New button that will be added to the 777-300. Will select/deselect the Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System terrain data on the ND. The data is mutually exclusive of WXR data, so selecting one deselects the other. Each system will be automatically selected when all of the following are true:
- The system data is not displayed to either pilot.
- An alert from that system is received.
- A higher priority alert is not currently active.
Between WXR and TERR the priorities are:
- Terrain warning
- Predictive windshear warning
- Terrain caution
- PWS caution
