Engine Anti-Ice System uses engine bleed air to heat the engine cowl inlets. Each engine has a dual loop Anti-Ice system duct leak detection
system. If a leak is detected in an Anti-Ice duct, the affected engine Anti-Ice valves close.
The wing Anti-Ice System provides bleed air to three leading edge slats on each wing. Wing Anti-Ice is only available in flight. If TAT is
10° C or above wing Anti-Ice operation is inhibited until 5 minutes after takeoff.

Wing Anti-Ice
- OFF - Both wing shut-off valves are closed. Inhibits automatic operation of Anti-Ice valves.
- AUTO - In flight, both wing shut-off valves open or close automatically based on inputs from the automatic ice detection system.
- ON - Both wing shut-off valves are opened when air ground sensing is in the air mode.
Left/Right Engine Anti-Ices
- OFF - Respective engine Anti-Ice valves are closed. Inhibits automatic operation of Anti-Ice valves.
- AUTO - In flight, respective engine Anti-Ice valves open or close automatically based on inputs from the automatic ice detection system.
- ON - Respective engine Anti-Ice valves is opened.
Exterior Light Switches
- BEACON - Controls red anti-collision beacons on top and bottom of fuselage.
- NAV - Controls the red, green and white navigation position lights.
- LOGO - Controls the LOGO lights.
- WING - Controls wing leading edge lights.
IND LTS Switches
- TEST - Illuminates all annunciator lights to full brightness. After the switch has been held for 10 seconds, lights go dim.
- BRT - Sets all illuminated annunciator lights to full brightness.
- DIM - Dims all illuminated annunciator lights.
Left/Right Wing Runway Turnoff Light Switches
Controls the Left/Right Runway Turnoff Lights.
Taxi Light Switch
Controls Taxi Light. Taxi light does not come on with nose gear retracted.
Strobe Light Switches
Controls white anti-collision Strobe Lights on wing tips and tail cone.
