The CCD provides control of the display cursor when a MFD displays communications pages. It uses a Touch Pad that translates the touch location coordinates to the affected display, placing a cursor at those coordinates on the MFD. Except for the four corners of the Touch Pad, lifting the finger off the Touch Pad and touching a different location does not move the cursor. Touching a corner immediately places the cursor in the corresponding corner of the MFD. Only one CCD can access a given display at a time. The cursors are visually different so the polits know who is currently in control of the cursor on a display.
